Your hosts at the Caribou Lodge Bed and Breakfast are Anna and Bruce Ellis. They warmly open their home to guests from near and far.

A Cape Bretoner, Anna has lived most of her life in and around Halifax. She is the resident Artist, painting under the name of A.J. Scanlan.

Bruce is the guide, entertainer, and cook who gets to mingle with the guests at breakfast.

Abby, their miniature poodle, is the announcer, alerting everyone to the arrival of guests.

Together, Anna and Bruce have seven children. Of these, five live close by, as do five of Anna and Bruce's grandchildren. All pop in frequently for visits and gatherings.

The Caribou Lodge Bed and Breakfast is well kept and well lived in; a place where guests are invited to feel at home while they are away from their own.
